Midievil Philosophy
Medieval Philosophy: A History of Philosophy Without Any Gaps, Volume 4, by author Peter Adamson, covers European philosophy, starting from the beginning of the ninth century, all the way through the end of the fourteenth century. The Medieval period is one of the most colorful periods of philosophical discovery in human history. However, it is also one of the most ignored and misunderstood. This book will teach the reader about some of the greatest Western thinkers, including Peter Abelard, Anselm of Canterbury, Thomas Aquinas, John Duns Scotus, William of Ockham, and Roger Bacon. The book also covers some prolific female thinkers, such as Julian Norwich, and Hildegard of Bingen.
