Should infants be baptized into any type of organized religion? Is it appropriate, or fair to the child? Does it force the infant to accept the faith and beliefs of a religion, while refusing them the right to choose that faith? The book A Biblical Critique of Infant Baptism, by author Matt Waymeyer, explores the arguments both for, and against the baptism of infants, and offers an fair and impartial critique of those practices throughout history. The book does, however, reach the determination that the baptism of infants in neither calle for, nor condoned by scripture. The book was published on February 8, 2008.
