The Church in Emerging Culture
Everyone has their own opinions about what the church should look like, and how it should function in modern times. In a time when society is perhaps the most skeptical, and untrusting of the church's involvement in everyday life, now is perhaps the best time to evaluate and analyze the impact and ramifications of the church's influence, for better, and for worse. The book The Church in Emerging Culture: Five Perspectives, by authors Michael Horton, Frederica Matthewes Green, Brian D. McClaren, Erwin Raphael McManus, and Andy Crouch attempts to do just that. The Church in Emerging Culture: Five Perspectives was published by Zondervan, and released in January of 2011.
