Remove those Barriers to Customizing Your Stationery Suite

Thread Details:

Thinking about a new stationery suite? It's a new year, so I decided to revamp my stationery. After looking through an exhaustive number of stationery providers across sites like Etsy, Crane's and bespoke printers, here are some ideas we can share with our iCurated audience about choosing stationery. Some of the considerations that stopped me from ordering a suite of custom-printed stationery we the most obvious things that you probably encounter...what if you move, how many do you order, or what if you change your design preference and that cute, little rainbow motif that you loved in your 20's is not as cute with you are 25?

CUSTOMIZING YOUR SUITE BY 'NOT' CUSTOMIZING WITH PRINTING

1. Consider a mix of custom stamps, embossers and printers to make up your stationery suite. Not only can this save you a lot of money, it can also help you create a highly custom look that is unique. After all, that is what you are trying to convey in creating a stationery suite in the first place.

2. Custom embossers (best source: Etsy) - The effect of a gorgeous monogram or script pressed into your stationery paper or envelope is very elegant. As one example, you can order a custom-designed Monogram, oriented top-up (for letterhead), or top-down (for envelope flaps).

3. You can then fill in that emboss with a subtle pen stroke, watercolor or even a custom stamp with that same design, dipped into a glitter ink, for example. Here is an Amazon link to a comparable debosser (and it is about $15 cheaper than the Etsy sellers: https://www.amazon.com/Custom-Embosser-Stamp-Design-Personalized/dp/B07SZD92NJ/?tag=rungle080d209-20)

4. When you use a custom embosser, you are then free to use ANY paper or envelope of your choice - even that cute notecard you found while on vacation - since the embosser can travel with you!

5. Even if you move/change your address or any other information you included on the embosser, you do not need to re-order an entire suite of stationery - you simply need to reorder a $30 embosser.

There you go! XOXO. Just another little trick to living an iCurated life.
