Amazon's best selling offering for Atheists, has an astonishing 5000+ reviews. I say astonishing because I am not an Atheist. Pontificating for reason and truth as our moral compasses, he systematically squashes histories/cultural beliefs in any God. Angels, Demons, Jesus, Buddha, Lucifer, Zeus, Horus not Thor. Wow, this guy is just no fun. Evidently author and scientist Richard Dawkins asserts that not only is it irrational to believe in a supreme deity, he thinks it's actually dangerous. Now that line of thinking does have some truth to it in that an awful lot of hate is inflicted upon the world in the name of God. But I would argue that is because of the fallibility of human understanding, not proof of natural selection.
