You would have to live under a rock not to have heard the politically changed conversations around the student loan national debt. Bernie Sanders voice has probably been the loudest, but he is certainly not alone. Nationally there is over a trillion dollars in debt owed from college students. So I don't think this book is very unexpected. Young adults graduate (only about 50% leave college with a 4 year degree) and then return to their parents home, often low paid jobs that did not require a degree, and now burdened with debt.
