The United States Postal Service was first founded in the year 1775. The electric telegraph was commercialized in 1844. During the seven decades that came between, the Postal Service was on the forefront of a national communication revolution. In the book Spreading the News: The American Postal System From Franklin to Morse, by author Richard R. John, the reader is treated to a thorough and detailed exploration of this exciting period in American history, as seen through the eyes of those deeply committed to connecting the young nation. Spreading the News reprint edition was released on November 1, 1998, and published by the Harvard University Press.

The reason I am an expert in my curations:
I am not an expert in all topics, but I created iCurated to attract expert curators in their respective fields to our community.

One tip I will only share with the iCurated community:
There are experts who can help you before you make purchase decisions. Chances are...iCurated has an expert curator who can help you decide!
