Honor in German Literature (University of North Carolina Studies in Germanic Languages and Literature - 25) by author George Fenwick Jones is one of the first books of its kind. Originally set to print more than sixty years ago, Honor in German Literature explores the origins of the concept of honor in German writings and stories. The book features an examination of the influence that Christian and Stoic ideology had on German writings, from as far back as ancient times, and all the way through the modern age. Honor in German Literature was originally released in 1959, with this new edition being released on May 1, 2020, and published by The University of North Carolina Press.
