Handbook of Germanic Linguistics
There are numerous national languages (and many individual variations of each) that exist within the German language family. Some of these languages include German, Danish Dutch, Frisian, Pennsylvania German and Yiddish, among others. In The Cambridge Handbook of Germanic Linguistics (Cambridge Handbooks in Language and Linguistics) editors Michael T. Putnam, and B. Richard Page deciphers these different languages, and examines the variations of each in an engaging and fun way. Handbook of Germanic Linguistics is the first book of its kind which breaks down these languages to their core variations. Handbook of Germanic Linguistics was released on April 16, 2020, and published by Cambridge University Press.
