Phonological Variations in French
The French language is often cited as being one of the most complex and difficult to master. Many variations in tone and dialect are some of the factors which lead to these difficulties. In the book Phonological Variation in French: Illustrations in Three Continents (Studies in Language Variation) editors Randall Gess, Chantal Lyche and Trudel Meisenberg cut through the fog, and provide the reader with a clear and insightful look at the distinctions between these many variations. Originally released on December 6, 2012, Phonological Variation in French is the 11th book in the Studies in Language Variation Series. The book was published by John Benjamins Publishing Company.
